In 1983, the Chef Lieven Putteman completely changed the destiny of that old eel-house. Lieven Putteman took the risk of investing in what represented for him an enormous challenge and a real adventure. The artistic talent of family Putteman has contributed to this successful outcome : the visitors are delighted at the sight of the garden, the Orangerie or the restaurant. A Michelin star crowned his efforts in 1990.

Since then time has passed but for Lieven Putteman the satisfaction of his clientele has always been his priority. He remained in a professional and friendly way lord and master in the kitchen and he offers a refined and tasteful cuisine.
